A structured hybrid CNA program designed for busy adults. Students complete a portion of theory online while attending shortened in-person lab sessions Monday–Thursday for four weeks.

The CNA Flex Schedule Program is designed for students who want a balanced, structured learning experience with shorter in-person class days.
This format blends classroom and lab instruction with guided online theory throughout the four-week program. Students attend class Monday through Thursday with shortened daily sessions (excluding clinical days) while completing structured online coursework, along with in-person quizzes, exams, and guided review sessions to ensure understanding and accountability.
Unlike the CNA Hybrid program — where students complete the first portion of theory independently before transitioning into in-person instruction — the Flex Schedule provides instructor engagement from the beginning of the program.
Because lab instruction is integrated across the full program schedule, students gradually practice and refine skills rather than shifting from an online phase into condensed lab sessions.
The Flex Schedule is ideal for busy adults and parents who want shorter in-person class days while still receiving hands-on training, consistent instructor engagement, and structured support throughout the program.
Your tuition includes the essential training materials and supplies needed throughout your CNA program.
Students are required to have an analog watch with a second hand for training and clinicals. Smartwatches cannot be used as a substitute. Students may purchase their own, or purchase an approved watch directly through Hillendell.
A current TB screening is required for clinical participation. Students complete this independently through their primary care provider, urgent care, local health department, or another qualified healthcare provider.
BLS certification is required for clinical participation and is not included in tuition. Hillendell offers BLS certification to enrolled students for $55, or students may obtain an approved BLS certification elsewhere. Learn more.
State certification exam fees are not included in tuition and are paid separately after completing the program — $35 for the written test through Credentia, plus either $95 for the skills exam through Credentia, or $85 for Hillendell's Skills Exam Workshop (which includes the skills exam at no additional cost).
